えがらまんじゅうについて/about EGARA MANJU
練ったモチ粉でこし餡を包み、くちなしの黄色で染めたモチ米をまぶして蒸しあげた珍しいまんじゅうです。
It's very unique manjyu made with smooth sweeten red beans covered waxy rice putting colored yellow chunk of waxy rice around.

<食べ方/How to eat
朝生(あさなま)ですのでその日に召し上がっていただいたほうが良いのですが、固くなっても蒸すか、電子レンジで温めるか又、オーブン等で焼いて食べてもおいしいです。電子ジャーのご飯の上で温めるのが一番簡単。長期保存の場合は、二日~三日以内に冷凍庫に入れて下さい。
えがらまんじゅうの名はその姿が栗のいがに似ていることから、なまって、えがらとなったようです。
縁賀良と書き皆様に幸多かれと祈りつつ、作りました。

(How to eat)
It is the best to finish during the day you bought them. However, steaming, using microwave or baking in the oven are also good idea. When it became harder, the simplest way of re-heat is putting them on the rice in the rice cooker when you cook rice.
For the case of preserving, put them in a freezer and finish them within 2 or 3days.
"Egara manjyu," its figure is similar to "Iga" (spiky chest nut shell). That is why it named "Egara" which transformed from "Iga".
"Egara" in Chinese character means "A lot of happiness". We make Egara manjyu with wishes your happiness.
